Here's to Our "Pioneer" Lightworkers

I wrote this in Fall 2008 - thought I'd add it to the wonderful Portal!

Lately, many of my clients have been women in their 50’s and 60’s - grand dame lightworkers who forged valiantly onto this Earth when it was “darker” than it is today, unconducive at the time to the higher vibration they were bringing in.

Over the years, they have braved huge struggles with their finances, families in which they grew up, and relationships - enduring bankruptcies, divorces, and ostracizing from families unable to understand them and their mission. Still, they have endured, doing the work they were called here to do in service to the planet.

Here we are now in 2009, transitioning into “a New Earth”. Energy healers, environmental organizations, and other media calling attention to higher concepts are in massive abundance today - in large part due to these pioneering lightworkers who have steadfastly held the vibration for ushering in this new age. Younger lightworkers like myself are able to accelerate and thrive because of the golden pathway our lightworking foremothers and forefathers have paved for us.

Lately, however, I have observed a curious pattern. While my young, contemporary lightworkers seem to be really moving forward on their paths - many of our elder lightworkers continue to operate on those old programs of struggle, fear, and difficulty manifesting their desires. They speak brilliantly about the higher concepts of manifestation, yet their lives do not yet consistently reflect this. They know how they should feel and where they should be - so why aren’t they “there” yet?

Rather like a soldier suffering from post-traumatic stress even after he has been safely delivered from the battlefield, it seems that many of them continue to carry the wounds and fears from years of struggle and unappreciation. It is as though parts of them can’t quite believe that, after so many years of dashed hopes, their dreams could finally come true!

I write this journal, not only to call attention to a pattern I’ve observed that others may recognize in themselves, but also as an opportunity to salute and thank our cherished pioneering lightworkers - the men and women who came before and paved the paths of light for so many of us. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do on our behalf and on behalf of the raising the consciousness of the planet. I, for one, am deeply grateful.

It is true that our families, children, and spouses may never come to understand who we are and why we are here - just as we may never come to understand their purpose and choices either. As we know, peace comes not from being what the world wants us to be, but from being what we want to be. Still, we are all protected, loved, valued, and supported - not just by God, but increasingly by the world around us, as evidenced by the numerous lightworkers and massive shifts present in our world today.

For those struggling with finances, family, and/or relationships, I lovingly say to you:
It is safe now to expect abundance and prosperity for yourself, doing what you love to do.
- It is safe now to expect to have loved ones who will support you on your path.
It is safe now to expect loving, supportive life partnerships and relationships that are of your vibrational level.

Trust. Just trust. That is all you need to do. And allow all fears and doubts to rise to the surface for their final release. There is no such thing as “too good to be true” anymore. It is good, therefore it is true! You, our pioneering lightworkers, have played a vital role in creating it to be so.

I hope these words have warmed someone’s heart. May we all reap the glories of the emerging world we came here to create!
