Who are your favorite spiritual teachers/messengers? Why?

So many, so many, so many.... Here's a quick list:

- Eckhart Tolle (The Power of Now, A New Earth)
- Sanaya Roman (all of her books - such loving, wise words spoken by Orin)
- my mother (one of the wisest women I know who continually strives to stay on the path of truth and heart)
- my father (a kind, generous, loving, and authentic man who also strives for truth and goodness in all of his dealings)
- Master Choa Kok Sui (all of his books and meditations)
- Abraham-Hicks (Ask and It Is Given)
- Kahlil Gibran (The Prophet)

My favorites are:
The Lord -- do I need to say why? My life is an expression of grace.
Eckhart Tolle (A New Earth) because I did, in fact, experience the separation between my ego and self while reading this.
Dr. Wayne Dyer -- his books and talks are great, all of them.
Dr. Christiane Northrup -- I love what she is doing for women!
Richard Bach (Jonathan Livingston Seagull)
many, many others....these are just the ones that come to mind now.

Eckhart Tolle is a part of my daily life. But up until this point enlightenment is something I read about and talk about as he puts it.
I also have read some Don Miguel Ruiz, it is easy to understand, the ego makes it hard to do, hehe. I have like Deepack Chopra as well.
I love to get books on tape, that way you can play it over and over again until it sticks.

I guess my favorite teachers and mentors are not very famous, for the most part.
Del Hautchins of Spokane Washington, now passed from this realm. She is my mentor and my true guiding light on so many levels.
A lady named Maggie who used to help me with dream work when I was a young girl living in a trailer park in California. At the time I had no idea what she was actually doing, but she sensed a need in me...
Sue Christilaw, who nudges me ever onward and has magnificent faith in me when I sometimes do not have it in myself.
Charles Lightwalker, who is not my formal teacher as he is with so many very astute people who know the right stuff when they see it, but more a person who occasionally taps me on the shoulder and points me in the right direction.
Annie Drapeau,my grandmother who told me about the entities who used to come to my great grandmother in her kitchen, and scare the heck out of whoever might be visiting there. She put the first deck of cards I ever read with in my hands.
Katy Azar, who used to ask me to read Turkish coffee cups for her patrons at Azar's on Monroe in Spokane, after she found I had a talent for it. I think it gave me the courage to move into Reading with more confidence in the messages and messengers as well!
